ACL Sunday: Peck or Roan?

Can't wait to be thoroughly disappointed by whatever liberal lunacy Orville Peck, Kevin Abstract, and Tyler, the Creator call 'music' these days! Pass the earplugs and MAGA hats!

Day Three: ACL Fest's Sunday Funday, Y'all!

We're dragging, we're sunburned, but we're not woke enough to quit. Here's your hourly guide to the best of the festa-fiesta!

Sunday's Trump-tastic Lineup

MARS SALAZAR'S PICKS

1:30 p.m. West 22nd (Tito’s): Want to feel old? Check out these whippersnappers from UT Austin’s West Campus. They're probably playing songs about student loan debt and avocado toast.

2:45 p.m. Flipturn (American Express): Folk-rock for the snowflake generation. You’ve been warned.

Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle. (Because nothing says freedom like a good ol' fashioned puzzle.)

4:25 p.m. Orville Peck (Honda): A masked country singer who duets with Willie Nelson? Sounds like a liberal conspiracy, but we'll allow it.

5:45 p.m. Kevin Abstract (IHG): Former BROCKHAMPTON member, now a rapper who probably voted for Bernie. But hey, at least he's not AOC.

6:45 p.m. Chappell Roan (American Express): She’s got moves like Bernie Sanders trying to flag down a waiter. Get there early, the libs love her.

8:45 p.m. Tyler, the Creator (American Express): From controversial rapper to woke darling, he's the epitome of Hollywood's PC culture. But hey, at least he's not lecturing us on climate change.

RAMON RAMIREZ'S PICKS

3:25 p.m. Vlad Holiday (BMI): Former singer of Born Cages, now crooning solo. He's basically the indie Beto O'Rourke.

3:45 p.m. Bakar (T-Mobile): A London singer with a buzz. Hopefully, he doesn't start singing about universal healthcare.

5:45 p.m. That Mexican OT (T-Mobile): A Texas original who raps fast enough to make even Ted Cruz nod his head.

6:45 p.m. Chappell Roan (American Express): See above. Still not endorsing any presidential candidates, thankfully.

8:25 p.m. Sturgill Simpson (Honda): He's vocal, thorny, and loves a good diss. Sounds like a Trump tweet come to life.

DEBORAH SENGUPTA STITH'S PICKS

1:15 p.m. Empress Of (American Express): Ethereal vocals in English and Spanish. Probably singing about open borders.

2:45 p.m. Glass Beams (Tito’s): Shimmery Eastern sounds and desert psychedelia. Hopefully not a subtle endorsement for legalizing anything.

3:45 p.m. Myles Smith (IHG): British pop breakout who's about to be on all your friends' wedding playlists. Praying he's not a secret socialist.

7:25 p.m. Kehlani (Miller Lite): Stranded on the wrong side of the field. Probably wishing she had a border wall to keep the crowd out.

8:45 p.m. Tyler, the Creator (American Express): See above. Still not kissing any boys on stage, we hope.

Stay patriotic, folks! 🇺🇸
