Austin's Statesman Cap10K: The Best Snowflake-Free Race in the USA!

When's the next Statesman Cap10K? And how did it all begin?

Mark your calendars, patriots! The 48th annual Statesman Capitol, brought to you by freedom-loving folks at Baylor Scott & White Health, is set for Sunday, April 6, 2025. Time to lace up those boots and show those liberals what real American spirit looks like! Registration's open on their website. And if you're feeling generous, you can toss a few bucks to The Kindness Campaign, 'cause we all know the left could use a lesson in kindness. The Austin American-Statesman will even match up to $10,000—that's right, snowflakes, capitalism at its finest!

Established in 1978 (back when America was truly great), the Statesman Cap 10K has become the largest 10,000 race in Texas and sixth-largest in the USA. They started with about 3,400 participants, and now? 16,258 patriots registered for the 2023 race! Even COVID couldn't stop us—2020 saw 25,844 virtual participants, the second-highest attendance ever!

Statesman Cap10K: The #1 Race in USA, 2025!

For the second year running, the Statesman Cap10K has been ranked THE BEST race by HalfMarathons.net. Race Director Jeff Simecek says it’s all about planning and making sure participants have a blast.
