Bath & Body Works pulled a holiday candle because snowflakes thought they spotted a KKK hood. Well, the "scent" of racism is the only thing liberals love to sniff up these days!

Snowflake Alert: Bath & Body Works Torches 'KKKandle'
In a hilarious twist of irony, Bath & Body Works has yanked their seasonal "Snowed In" candle after some easily triggered folks online saw Ku Klux Klan hoods in its snowflake design. Yes, you read that right – a snowflake was deemed offensive.
The two cutout holes in the white pointed snowflake tips were enough to send some folks into a tizzy, dubbing it the Klandle and the KKKandle. Because clearly, that's what the designers were going for, right?
The company, of course, swiftly issued an apology: "At Bath & Body Works, we are committed to listening to our teams and customers, and committed to fixing any mistakes we make – even those that are unintentional like this one," they groveled. "We apologize to anyone we’ve offended and are swiftly working to have this item removed and are evaluating our process going forward."
The outrage began mid-week when the candle was revealed, with some seeing the 150-year-old hate group's hoods in the design. "Don’t be surprised if we do not see this one in store!" posted a self-described "candle hoarder" @_scentsgalore on Instagram.
Followers were divided, with some seeing the hoods and others seeing, well, a snowflake. One commenter tried to walk the line, saying, "Being offended is subjective. Just because you aren’t, doesn’t mean others feelings are invalid!" Well, isn't that convenient?
Even Diet Prada got in on the action, posting on Instagram, "Damn, Bath & Body Works really gave new meaning to 'White Christmas'."
This isn't Bath & Body Works' first rodeo with insensitivity complaints, though. Two years ago, they tried to cash in on Black History Month with Kente cloth designs, leading to cries of cultural appropriation.
So there you have it, folks. The latest in "How is this even a thing?" news. Until the next "crisis," keep burning those non-offensive candles!
